The tour depicts the transformation of Madonna's character in various works of the Proto-Renaissance era which saw a transition from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance. The two works of the period are studied: Coppo di Marcovaldo's Madonna and Child and Francesco d'Antonio da Ancona's Madonna and Child. Christ and Saints.
The tour is led by lecturer and art historian Maria Medvedeva.
