A journey to Kidzania begins just like in real life: at the airport. An actual airplane can be found here. Just like any major city, Kidzania has shops, restaurants, a school, a hospital, an airport, a museum, a theatre, a beauty salon, a university and a TV studio. It has genuine roads with buses, traffic lights and waste sorting bins for further recycling.
The genuine Tupolev Tu-154M aircraft. It is equipped with interactive simulators learning children how to navigate an aircraft from take-off to landing. The youngest children can work as a flight attendant.
A Nornickel mining and smelting enterprise occupies three storeys. It has a central control room, a factory, a mine and a small museum. The area was designed up to the state of the art: touch screens displaying data, handling a crane via augmented reality glasses, an option of arranging a controlled rock blast and transportation to the factory.
Culinary workshops: children are taught how to cook pizza, burgers and quesadilla. After the cooking, children can share their results with their parents.
Fire brigade: children can become a part of the Kidzania's team, complete training, respond to a fire and put it out as part of the brigade.
Secret agent school where children have to face spies' challenges: laser labyrinth, rope cobweb, spinning tunnel and the final trial for the bravest: a free fall from 5 metres.
The city has its own currency, 'kidzo'. After mastering a profession, children are granted their initial capital which can be spent at their own discretion: deposit into saving account, pay for a driving school or buy toys.
Kidzania is nothing like regular amusement parks. It does not guarantee to fulfill all children's wishes but provides in-demand knowledge, priceless experience, vivid impressions and a chance to feel self-sufficing instead!
Kidzania is an incredibly realistic children's land where a child can master lots of professions, develop their talents, gain practical skills and knowledge of the outer world. Over 100 jobs are available: cook, pilot, firefighter, mail carrier, police officer, dentist, etc.
