Wondering where in Moscow you can take an unusual selfie during the summer? We've handpicked a number of picturesque locations where you can take amazing photos: flying in the air, bird's-eye view shots, photographs on the swings, in historic estates or against the works of street art — these won't leave even the most discerning bloggers indifferent.
A great pick for unusual selfies and themed photoshoots are the Mosfilm set designs inside the film studio's museum.
They recreate the atmosphere of the 19th century Moscow and are often transformed into old Berlin, Paris and other European capitals.
Here you will get to see famous automobiles that starred in popular films, original costumes and decorations, studios, makeup, as well as photo and video equipment.
The museum is located on the premises of the Mosfilm group in the west of Moscow. Pre-booking of tours is required.

To feel like you're flying over Moscow, try out the giant swing in the park at Khodynka Field. The amusement ride is set up on top of a 10-metre hill which offers a stunning view of the city.
The design of the swing is in line with the aviation theme of the park: the steel construction features red-and-white windsocks that are normally used in airfields. This theme has been picked for a reason: between 1910 and 2003, Khodynka Field was home to the Central Airfield named after M. V. Frunze: what used to be its taxiway strip has now become the central alley of Moscow's new park.
The park also has an art object titled the Mirror Maze where you can capture yourself from an interesting angle using the play of light and shadow.

If you want to visit St. Petersburg and take selfies with historical buildings but you don't have the time for that — come and visit the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve.

The fountain actually has over 900 jets located along the circumference of 12 concentric rings; the water rises as high as 15 metres above the ground. The rhythm of the fountain located on the Podkova Island in Tsaritsyno Pond is controlled remotely, and the water is dancing to the accompanying music.
