The author of Gorky's and Akhmatova's portraits and the illustrator of Moidodyr, director of a mass performance with 8,000 people and an Oscar nominee for costume design. All this was done by one person: Yury Annenkov, one of the most expensive Russian artists. The Museum of Russian Impressionism displays such a great number of Yury Annenkov's works for the first time: more than 150 paintings, graphic portraits and sketches from the leading museums and private collections in Russia and France.
