Our sightseeing tour will virtually bring you to the late 1920s, when the Narkomfin Building, one of the outstanding masterpieces of the Soviet time avant-garde architecture, was under construction. This was a transition type building that was supposed to teach the Soviet people to live inside the Socialist Utopia. It is formed by accommodation units, i.e. small-sized duplex apartments. Its accessible flat roof hosted a dormitory and the first Soviet "penthouse" that belonged to Nikolay Milyutin, the Commissar of Finance of the RSFSR. Today, the house is being furbished by OOO Liga Prav developer that applies a science-based approach.
The online sightseeing tour is led by Sergey Kuznetsov, a guide and architectural historian.
